    We're bringing something bold and unforgettable to UCLA Greek life: a high fashion runway show set inside a frat house. Hosted by Manorborn, the LA-based fashion brand started by recording artist Slyy Stone and Lachlan Myers, this event merges East Coast prep with LA-nightlife. It's part exclusive fashion moment, part raging house party, and all centered around culture, music, and style. To top it off, we’re filming the music video for Slyy's new single "Rush Week" live during the show capturing the energy, the fashion, and the crowd in real time.

     

    We're targeting Friday, October 17th for maximum turnout and hype. It’s the sweet spot after midterms, before Halloween, and during peak fall fashion energy.

    Doors Open at 8:30pm

    Fashion Show: 9:30pm-10:00pm

    After Party: 10pm - Late

    We aim to lock in the venue by mid-August so we can promote it properly and line up brand sponsorships.

    The night will be a blend of exclusivity and house party chaos:

    • Guests arrive to a transformed frat house: runway installed, lights up, red carpet rolled out.

    • A curated list of models and influencers showcase the new Manorborn collection featuring classic east coast, prep silhouettes with edgy tailoring.

    • The soundtrack? Slyy's unreleased music plus a DJ set and live performance from Slyy following the show.

    • The crowd? UCLA creatives, LA-tastemakers, and Greek Life surprise guest icons.

    • The energy? Like Zoolander meets Animal House.

    UCLA’s Greek system isn’t just about tradition - it sets the tone for West Coast collegiate culture. By using a frat house as the venue, we’re blending legacy with subversion, making prep cool again through a disruptive lens. It’s also a nod to Manorborn and Slyy's own stories. Manorborn literally means “born in a manor”, an ode to upbringings that lent attraction to the prep / frat fashion style while Slyy is an artist with taste who straddles the prep culture with LA-nightlife circles. There is currently an underground movement within the fashion scene throwing back styles to the 2010’s - polos, sandals, pukka shell necklaces, and this is an opportunity to be at the forefront of the next major culture shift. This location isn’t random - it’s the stage for the next generation of music, fashion, and collegiate culture.
